Beef stew with paprika (paprikás marhapörkölt)

Ingredients: 800 g beef (shank or chuck) 20 mm cubes, 3-4 spoonfuls oil, 1 onion chopped, 6-8 teaspoon of paprika powder, 2 teaspoon salt and half teaspoon black pepper (taste), 1 tomato chopped, 1 green pepper sliced, 1 dl. red wine, 1-2 dl. water, 1 spoonfuls flour

Cooking: Cut the onion into small pieces and brown it in oil. Brown the meat and sprinkle paprika powder and deglaze the pan with red wine and add a little water. Add all ingredients and add enough beef stock or water to cover meat. Simmer with cover 1-2 hours or until the meat is tender. Somethimes must check it, and if needed add more wather. (Maybe finally sprinkle the flour over the meat and stir well.)

Serve it with noodles, over dumplings, and eat it with vinegary hot apple pepper.
